The Parkrose Youth Soccer Club has started a scholarship program this year, which includes two $250 scholarships (one for a male and one for a female). This is for seniors who have ever played, coached or reffed for Parkrose Soccer Club. The deadline is May 1st. Please pick up an application from the HS Main Office.
The next Senior All-Night Party planning meeting will be on Monday, May 5th at 7:00pm in the HS Library. Graduation is almost here and we would love to have more parents help out! If parents are unable to attend the meeting but want to help out, please contact Deanne Paltridge at email@example.com
Congratulations to the Parkrose Symphonic Band for qualifying for the OSAA State Band Championships. The NWOC League contest was held at Parkrose yesterday. The students were GREAT hosts! The OSAA Band State Championships are held every year at LaSells Stewart Center on the campus of Oregon State University. The 5A classification will be on Friday, May 16th. Please join us in congratulating our band students!
Join the Parkrose High School Elite Dance Team for their 2014 "I <3 Dance" Clinic. The Parkrose Elite Dance Team invites dancers in grades K-8th to join them for a fun-filled day of dance! Participants will be taught proper stretching, introductory dance technique, drill down, and learn a routine that will be performed for friends and family at the end of the clinic! We hope you can join us, Saturday, May 31st from 10:00am-3:00pm (Registration: 9:30am-10:00am)**Performance: 2:30pm-3:00pm** in the Parkrose High School Gym. Ladies! It's time to get your build on!! Join Ms. Grant at the 2014 Women in Trades Career Fair for an opportunity to participate in some hands-on workshops, see a fashion show and experience what the trades have to offer! To attend, sign up on Naviance and get a permission slip from Ms. Grant! This all day excursion will be a lot of fun! This trip is limited to the first 25 ladies that sign up and get their forms in! Students not sure of how to access Naviance need to see their counselor as soon as possible!

Juniors & Seniors, Prom is near! Tickets to prom are on sale now! Prom tickets will NOT be sold at the door, your last day to purchase Prom Tickets is May 9th. There are a limited number of tickets, so be sure to buy them soon. If you are interested in bringing an outside guest, be sure to pick up a guest form outside the main office. Don't forget about the discounted price. Ticket prices jump up after April 28th.
